Take the large portion, separating smaller portions and start a 3 strand braid downward leaving it loose for the moment. Take the opposite side and loosely twist it pulling it toward the other side. Take both end portions and a third much thinner strand and begin a fishtail braid leaving a decent amount of your ends loose. Go back to your initial braid and pull each strand out slightly giving the braid volume then coat with a layer of hair spray to give it some hold.

Laying a new layer over the last will give you a unique design. Continue braiding on the outline of your hair until you reach the front and all strands are combined into one tail. Take the finished tial and pull it over the begining of the braid over lapping it and pinning it down. Go over the entire braid and stretch each loop out giving it a larger look.

From the left side you will take a small portion from the outside and cross it over the left section into the right section. Create a part in your hair offset from the center. From the smaller side take 2 strands, one from the front and one from the top pulling the portion closer to the face back over the top section. Pull a new section from the top of your head over the front portion and let it fall, then pull the overlapped portion over the falling one. Twist the two sections together around the falling piece and repeat the same steps for the next falling piece until you reach the back of the scalp. Once you reach the back of the head, create a three strand braid locking the hair style in and pin it down under the unused portion of hair to hide the end.
